What a beautiful day! We set out to drive in Homer to Carisbrooke Castle about 9 miles from the campsite. The streets in Newport were a bit narrow, as was the road up to the castle, but there was a big carpark near the entrance where it was easy to park Homer. This is an English Heritage site so we saved £15.20 with our membership cards.
