This is one of my favourite places in England! The Atlantic coastline of Cornwall is rugged with high cliffs and amazing rock formations. There are many old fishing villages along this coast as well as sandy beaches popular with summer tourists. Mawgan Porth is situated on this coast just a few miles north of the ancient town of Newquay which dates back to the 15th century. Today Newquay is Britain's main surfing centre.
