Mar 11, 2013 - A quick trip into Worcestershire

The sun was shining but it was still bitterly cold so we decided to head to Worcester and then the Malvern Hills. It was an ideal day for either a museum or a car touring day without being out too much in the cold. Our first stop was the Worcester Porcelain Museum. This told the story of Royal Worcester one of the largest porcelain factories in England which had been in production for 150 years. Oct 7, 2008 - Off to Sandies

I break my time in Scotland to fly down and see Bryan and Sandie in Droitwich, just north or Worcester, in the midlands, not far from the Welsh border. It is a town built on massive salt deposits, the baths here are known for their healing properties. I spent quite a bit of time at the Edinburgh airport as my bus was an early one, and didn't arrive here til late in the evening. We had fish and chip tea.... almost as good as home, the difference was we had curry sauce on the chips. It was quite delicious :-)
