Although the B&B experience at Needlehole Forge has been a little odd, Anne and Brian are very warm and friendly folk and after a rather good cooked brekkie they drove the four of us back to the spot from which they extracted us yesterday eve. The day began with both wind and sun and ended much the same way although there was some easing in the wind velocity by the time we hung up our poles at Painswick, another trek of about 22 km. But I get ahead of myself. Naturally there are some stories to be told so I will get on with them but not...
