Jan 9, 2011 - Eastbourne - Sussex coast
Well, here we are, our last night of the trip (apart from the journey home that is). From Peterborough yesterday we traveled south to Eastbourne, Sussex (http://www.visiteastbourne.com/). If I waxed lyrical about the hotel in Peterborough, then we really struck gold with the hotel in Eastbourne, The Cavendish Hotel (http://www.cavendishhotel.co.uk/). It really is a grand hotel. The decor and furnishings are indicative of the 1920's or 30's. The service is spot on from the moment you check in to when you relax in the bar with a drink. The...

Oct 29, 2008 - The M25 - a very large Parking Lot!
Back to Eastbourne and what a drive! About 350kms and it takes me 6 hours. Why? Because the bloody M25 is a parking lot. I am amazed that England hasn't sunk under the weight of the cars on the road!!!! So a couple of day left in Limeylan before heading to India. Whats a word that describes: apprehension, worried, concerned, excited - yahder-yar!

Oct 23, 2008 - Onto see my Sis and Bruv
Its good to see Barbara and Iain. We do a walk the next day along the prom in the sunshine AND its clean, no a speck of garbage on the prom or the sidewalks. My nephew and his wife come down for the weekend and we have a lovely day and then we watched a soccer game but Chelsea lost to Liverpool so we are all sad.
