We had dropped-off our car and were now at London's Victoria train station, hoping to board our ride to Dover. ... The next day, a final shopping trip in Dover to buy things to awkward to ask for in another language (windscreen wipers, etc. ... Dover has around 10 ferry departure gates, bit like an airport on the beach with really really big planes. ...
