So, it turns out Helen (the woman I'm staying with) is headed out to Bristol to see her brother, which is all of 10 minutes away from Bath, my next planned destination. ... May 5, 2008 - May 2 -5

We finally have access to my own compueter again to update things! YAY! we are now in Bristol and it's fairly nice here not what we expected but it's not to shabby. ... So far though we've seen: -The Changing of the Guard at Windsor Castle -Windsor Castle -Tower of London -Millenium Bridge -Outside the Globe Theatre -Tower Bridge -Outside Buckingham palace from afar since Bobbi was being a whiner -Big Ben -Parlaiment Buildings -Westminster Abbey We also spent the night at one random hostel in Holland park where we thought we had our room to ourselves until this lady came in around 11 all huffy and puffy muttering to herself and that was all ok until we were trying to sleep and she was snoring like a banshee and then in the morning we got a nice suprise of her flashing us her boob just hanging out I think Cara and i wanted to cry after that aha and right now we are talking to one of the locals in Bristol about school and such iiiit's pretty exciting ahha about the only person we have had an actual conversation with and we just found out his name is ollie i hope i spelt that right but he's really nice other than that i could go into explaining all the things weve done but it'd take me way to long but it's all been amazing the tower of london was breathtaking i can't even describe in words how it felt to walk around there but it was great absolutely amazing. ... we also got on the wrong train today and ended up at the wrong station in Bristol and had to take a train back to the right one but it was all ok then we got lost and couldnt find the hostel and had some lady show us the way and tell us cool places to go see here and such. ...

She is in a dry dock in Bristol having been rescued from the Atlantic Ocean around the Falkland Islands and towed back to Bristol as a wreck. ... We then went back to the surface and went to the first part of the museum which looked at her when she was first rescued in 1970 and brought back to Bristol. ... Feb 13, 2007 - First month in London & Bath (09/02-13/02)

The first few months in London have been reasonably uneventful with both of us spending a lot of time applying for jobs, going and seeing extraordinarily annoying recruitment consultants aka 'used car salesmans' and just learning how to get around the place. The first few months in London have been reasonably uneventful with both of us spending a lot of time applying for jobs, going and seeing extraordinarily annoying recruitment consultants aka 'used car salesmans' and just learning how to get around the place....

Nov 1, 2006 - Back in Bath... The Domestic Stuff.

Since I got back to Bath I've been busy regrouping, working on mountains of reading and celebrating Halloween. George took me out for Mexican food in Bristol (a couple of towns over) on the Sunday night we got back, and it was definitely nice to get out and see a different part of the local area. ...
