Halloween ne passera pas sans que nous en faisions parti !!!!!! Les z'amis, ça faisait bien longtemps que nous n'avions pas reçu pour l'occasion. 8 ans déjà que vous étiez a Boulogne dans notre 48 m2. Aug 2, 2012 - Clifton Suspension Bridge and Boat Trip

We got up early, got ready and headed out to the airport. Mum and dad's flight was right on time at 9.40, we met them and then had bacon sandwiches at the airport. We drove into Clifton, found a parking spot by the side of the road and wandered around. Clifton is lovely - lots of green space and quaint little streets. Aug 1, 2012 - Day 1 - Arriving in Bristol

We left home at 10:17 having packed up the car and got sorted. We had a good drive down the motorway, it took us 3.5 hours to reach Weston Super Mare. We stopped en route at Strencham Services and got coffee there and had a half hour break. Paul dropped some catalogues off at a client in Weston, then we found a parking area, parked the car and then headed out. We found a bar/restaurant called VII and ordered wine and sandwiches there. Un mois de mai qui commence sous la pluie pour finir sous soleil et chaleur! Quelques événements importants avec: - invitation a un petit spectacle de Bahia a Badminton (son école) pour fêter le joli mois de mai. - la visite de Nico. Papa Vinz et Nico sont allés faire un petit tour a Londres pour assister a un match de Rugby! Ha quand meme l'Angleterre a les moyens de vous faire venir, même si ce n est pas pour son climat. - le départ du Couz Martin qui est quand même reste avec nous 1 mois et demi. May 1, 2012 - Seb, Celine, Jules et Alice en visite chez les rosbeef

Au programme: pluie, pluie et pluie. Comme ça on ne démentira pas qu'il pleut toujours au UK. Alors comme on ne va pas rester enferme a espérer qu'un jour le soleil fasse son apparition, nous attrapons les cape de pluie (tant pis si nous ne ressemblons plus qu'a des touristes) et nous partons a la découverte de Bristol et Bath. L'autre tête que vous voyez apparaitre sur les photos, c est le couz' Martin. Il vient faire un stage a Bath et restera parmi nous jusqu'a fin mai. Feb 27, 2012 - Weekend at Home Farm

We took Homer back in to the workshop on Saturday to sort out some issues. The heating was not working and neither was the hot water which led to a cold shower for David. After much investigating the guys at West Country Motorhomes decided the hot water cylinder needed replacement and that we had to come back Monday. They sent us off with smiles and an electric fan heater to keep us warm. Feb 24, 2012 - Bristol again

It was a very comfortable sleep in our new bed . After breakfasting on bacon and eggs we went into Burnham to stock up the motorhome (‘Homer’ is the latest possible name) in a more substantial way than yesterday. We were very impressed with the amount of meat we could fit into the freezer, 16 nights worth and still plenty of room. Quite a bit different from the four nights we struggled to fit into the caravan back in NZ! We called at West Country Motor homes to complete the transfer forms for the bank, then because it was raining and horrible, we headed for Cabot Circus in Bristol, a large shopping centre with three floors of shops. We said our goodbye’s and thanks for the wonderful hospitality at Dorien Road, and caught the overland, then tube, to Paddington, where we connected with the 11.30am train to Bristol (Temple Meads Station). From the station there we got a cab to Thrifty Car Hire, and picked up a Vauxhall Corsa for 7 days. Oct 3, 2011 - Octobre 2011 a Bristol

Un mois d'Octobre bien sympa avec la visite de Loli- Veinarde, qui est venue la semaine la plus chaude qu' on n ai jamais connu depuis que nous sommes ici (près de 30, et oui!)- la visite du Great Britain (bateau remplit d'histoire) avec les filles et Halloween!. Mais quelle déception Halloween en Angleterre. On le saura, c'est une fête irlandaise ou américaine mais certainement pas anglaise.
