And I don’t mean my hair. What I do mean is my Ukrainian roots. I finally got to see relatives I have here in Ukraine and also visit the village where my great-grand parents came from. Both of my parent’s sides are Ukrainian but only on my mom’s side are there close relatives in Ukraine. So my mom and I traveled to western Ukraine to the city of Ivano-Frankivsk to go see them. Sep 15, 2006 - KOROPIEC - Arriving - My Mothers Birthplace And Home Town

Koropiec is about 20 kms off the main highway on a very "pot-holed" road. At first, when we were turning off the main highway, it appeared like a backlane and I was wondering what shortcut we were taking. But this is the actual road, 1 of 2 roads to/from Koropiec. I thought that Koropiec could possibly be one of Batman's summer hideaways, as this bumpy road would keep many away and give him the seclusion and isolation, away from the paparazzi.
