As our 4 hour journey to Sipi turned into 9 hours, taking 3 modes of transport, we were ecstatic to arrive. Our accommodation overlooked the three seperate falls and the surrounding mountains, which we proceeded to hike the following day. We thought Murchinson Falls was difficult, but we had another thing coming. Despite this, our guide Joseph was impressed by our speed; tackling the 3 falls in three and a half hours as opposed to most people taking 5 hours to do two of the falls. Boo Yeah! Nov 28, 2008 - Sipi Falls - A romantic weekend

OK, maybe not super romantic since we were 6 people. But still. Living in a tent for a couple of weeks sure drove me nuts, so I am SUPER happy top have spend some days in a real bed. The areas was beautiful and a refreshing and needed change in our life. Maciej partly managed to annoy the shit out of me during the last few weeks, since he didn’t have enough to do and had a “bit” of extra energy bundled up somewhere inside. Nov 15, 2007 - Welcome to Uganda

Sorry it's taken me so long to update. I've been so immersed in the new life at home that reflection on my time in Africa has been nearly impossible. Early on the morning of October 25th, I woke up before the sun had a chance to peak through my window.
