After a sleepover at the Doha airport in Qatar, and another 6 hour flight we arrived in Bangkok at 6:30pm local time. ... After walking around Silom (the area that we were staying in Bangkok) and trying to resist the urge to shop, we happily returned to our hotel cause it was SO humid and uncomfortable. ... We went to MBK which is a HUGE shopping mall in Bangkok, with 7 floors of shops and stands and bargains. ... If you are looking for a relaxing paradise to unwind, this is the island for you!! We stayed at an amazing place on the beach that is run by a local Thai family, I think there was maybe 6 other people staying at the villas during our stay, so it was a quiet, private, wonderful paradise! I have been walking and walking around the east side of Chiang Mai old town, and checking in to the ENP office a couple of times I have twice had 'dinner' with Michelle (and friends). ...
