The two days spent around Khao Yai National Park were very surreal. ... The lodge we stayed at was a bit older but had a great swimming pool complete with its very own waterfall and a probably a two to one staff to guest ratio(the latter is more of a function of traveling in the low tourist season than anything else).The two days spent around Khao Yai National Park were very surreal. ... Feb 25th - 26th We took the morning train from Bangkok to Pak Chong, a city just outside of the Khao Yai National Park. ... Khao Yai National Park is one of the world's greatest parks, covering 2165 sq km and home to 200-300 wild elephants, deer, wild pigs, Malayan Sun Bear, Asiatic Black Bear, tigers, Leopards, Gibbons, Macaques Monkeys as well as the 4 types of Hornbills. ...
