On November 1st I set off to Sion, an hour and a half train ride out of Geneva. The train ride was beautiful- snowy mountain tops, vineyards, valleys, cute Swiss villages. Daddy set up a vineyard tour for me at Gilliard wineries. Sion is in the Swiss canton of Valais- where the best wine in Switzerland is produced. At the wine tour, a very kind Swiss man showed me the "cave" or the winery. He also had me try over 10 wines! It was very interesting to smell and taste the wines and try to distinguish each flavor.
