Dec 25, 2011 - Christmas Day
Our day started by loading up into 3 horse-drawn sleighs for a picture-book perfect ride through the valley to the town of Teufli where we enjoyed a large cheese fondue, local wine, and schnapps at the local fondue restaurant. We saw blue sky, mountain streams, and xcountry skiers who glided with as much grace as a ballet dancer. Children were with there parents being pulled on their sleds. Others were treating their dogs to a walk through the snow. After lunch, we headed up the Passenbaum (tram) to the top of the world. Got to see the DH...

At the brewery we got to taste the local golden and dark brews as well as some schnapps. By the time the tour was over, Judy and I were laughing uncontrollably...too much fun. When we returned to town, Marilyn and I...

Dec 19, 2011 - Davos, Switzerland
Well we made to Davos and it is beautiful here..About 2 ft of fresh snow and the mountain peaks are beckoning us. Today we had short tour of the town, converted our US dollars to Swiss francs, tried some of the local hot chocolate and ate meals fit for kings and queens..Even though we spent most of the day airborne, we walked enough to accumulate over 10,000 steps. Marilyn and I are considering a day downhill skiing...and the slopes look quite intimidating from our hotel's balcony...so we'll have to see about that. We'll try checking in...
