Aug 4, 2014 - The rare rest days
We had three rest days, for us a bit of a rare occurrence. Saturday we caught up all the domestics- shopping, washing, etc. Sunday was hot (30°C plus) and humid so we just enjoyed sitting in the shade and chilling out. Sunday night over to Monday we had terrific thunderstorms and heavy rain. We were planning to move to our next campground on the Monday but rang them and postponed it for a day.

Jul 28, 2014 - Söderåsen’s National Park
Just up from the campground we discovered was Söderåsen’s National Park. This is an area of forested rift valleys and an ideal location on a hot day to walk. We decided to take one of the clearly marked walking trails which first took us through the forested river valley and then climbed up to above the valley before descending once again. It was a lovely walk through a beautiful broadleaf forest

Jul 27, 2014 - Into Sweden
Today we left Denmark and headed into Sweden. It was very busy with units departing the campground in Copenhagen so we were later than our usual departure time. We had an uneventful exit from the campground, thank goodness. We took the Öresund Bridge that links Denmark to Sweden. The bridge was completed in 1999 and is both road and rail bridge. It comprises both a bridge and tunnel and is a total of 16km long. The toll was expensive because of our size but its beats the ferry any day. In Sweden we had to stop at the customs to register...
