We take our time over breakfast while our host gives us some advice on where we should go and how long various sectors will take. He and his wife used to own the property about 7 years ago. Now his daughter and son in law (I think) own it but are away – hence they are babysitting. They actually reside in the Garden Route on the southern coast east of Cape Town. Jun 9, 2008 - Last African tour starts - Jo'burg to Jo'burg via Swaziland, Mozambique and Kruger Park!

Slept so well last night – was very cosy! Got up, paid my bill and had breakfast. Sat in reception waiting for the new tour guides I met some others on my tour. Once all our stuff was on board we set off. We drove for a couple of hours and then had a stop at a shopping mall so the guide, Ferdie, could buy food for the trip! Was very strange being back in a shopping mall! We picked up some snacks etc and then set off again! Bridget's Trip!

Apr 8, 2008 - Hlane, Swaziland

Next stop – Swaziland. On our way to Hlane National Park we stopped at a Swazi village and watched amazing song and dance performed by the villages. They had so much energy and obviously loved what they were doing. Rob even got to dance with one of the girls. In Hlane game reserve we did another bush walk in the late afternoon. Very cool... we got chased away by a male elephant and got very close to a female rhino and her baby (we were about 10 feet away).
