Sorry, I've only just got to grips with this technical map plotting, so for the last couple years it's been all over the place, hopefully now there'll be a few entries with no text or photos just to pinpoint our route - our correct route! This entry I've put more photos on - the only one relevant to El Palomar is the last one which shows the Aire, the others are just to show a bit more of Andorra and I had the family ones sent by Douglas the other day; couldn't resist putting in the one of Lily smiling as her face was hidden in the group...

Jul 2, 2007 - Xátiva and La Albufera

Marti and I headed up to a gorgeous little town about a 45 minute train ride from here, called Xátiva. As we left the city it was mostly grotty looking industrial towns and the odd orchard/farm, and to be honest Xátiva didn't look any better on the approach. Once we walked into the town though, it was really pretty with tree-lined streets. A huge castle dating back to 2000BC sits high above the city and is the key thing to see here.
