Travel day today with over 600km to do. Spent a fair amount of time on the motorways. The toll roads here can work out to be fairly expensive, but they are fast and you don't have to worry about trucks slowing you down. The speed limit on the motorway is 120kmh. On the same road in France it would be 130kmh, and in Germany some parts would be no speed limit. A little surprised the GPS took us through Valencia city, I thought there would be a bypass. There were several roundabouts that were multi laned, but no road markings, and people...

May 27, 2011 - Oliva, Spain

We spent a few days on the Costa Blanca, about 100 KM south of Valencia. We stayed in a very nice campground called Kiko Park in the town of Oliva. This was a good stop to recharge our batteries - our batteries, not the motorhome's. We spent a little time at the beach, the pool and taking a short bike ride. Jill had a great treat by going to the campground's Spa for a massage, facial, pedicure, sauna and steam room. Jose had a great treat of a few hours by himself.
