After 8 days of hiking and about 175 km's we took a scheduled day off. We continued to be blessed with good weather and good health. The same can't be said for some of the people we have friended along the way. Our buddy Wayne from Toronto has blisters on his blisters and the last few days has been a struggle for him. Jul 1, 2010 - Into the Wild

We left San Sebastian today on our the final leg of our journey. We're traveling through the Rioja wine region en route back to Madrid. Today we stopped in a small town on the Ebro river called Laguardia. It is one of three towns that make up the northern Rioja region, along with Haro and Lograno. Laguardia is a small walled town on a hill that offers great views of the wine vineyards in all directions.
