It was a glorious day so we decided we all need a walk so we took the advice of the campground owner and enjoyed a walk around the valley in which the campground was located. It was definitely a different walk with views of the local agriculture taking place in the valley.

Nov 27, 2016 - Our winter adventures really now begin

Up to now we had been covering areas we had visited before last winter. Today we moved south to just north of Aguilas. It wasn’t a long journey. The Quinta Bella campground was located in a wide green valley which is one of the driest area in Spain. However, by the state of the road to the campground it was hard to believe as there was soil run off on the road. We discovered that the night before they had a horrendous rain storm – the first rain they had had for some time. We passed miles upon miles of polytunnels used to grow tomatoes,...
