Bottom line: I hope you all got a good look at me before I left because I'm having all my belongings shipped here and moving to Ibiza. ... I got cleaned up and took a walk into Ibiza Town to see what was happening there. ... Monday I woke up earlier and went to the ¨old city¨- kind of a fortress, and you walk to the top of it to see all of Ibiza town. ... I came back to Ibiza for dinner and went back to ¨my¨little indian restaurant, shared some more conversation with Robert (the owner) and called it a night early-ish (for Ibiza) :) Today has been grey, which for the first time in weeks I'm ok with because I'm burned anyways haha And it's still warm so I walked through Ibiza and did a little bit of shopping- stopped into a record store for about an hour, again talking with the owner, and he set me up with some great ¨Ibiza¨albums to take home as a souvenir :) Just another example of how warm everyone is- we chatted as he showed me about 5 or 6 different mixes, trying to find something I absolutelty loved. ... I´m sad to leave Ibiza but I´m also glad I did come when I did because I got to see a different side of it- in the summer it´s ALL tourists, crazy partying, go go go. ...

We woke up early to catch a glimpse of the sunrise but discovered our hotel didn't really face as eastward as we originally thought. That night we took the bus into the city to run some errands and spend some time exploring Palma and the old city. ... After a long day of driving and flying, we took the opportunity to sleep in on Monday (plus the beds were so comfortable, it was hard to wake up). Our hotel was located a mile or so from the old city of Palma, in more of a residential neighborhood. ... Well, not my first choice of holiday but looking forward to it all the same. On my own now, Claire headed home from Bournmouth, so little bit nervous! DAY 1 - Arrived in Ibiza around 10am and got the local bus into Ibiza town. ... That night we went out into Ibiza old town and had a lovely meal and a few drinks. ...
