Overview I re-dressed John's foot before leaving. We decided to walk to a village 5km out of town before stopping for breakfast. Arriving at the bar there was no tortilla available. It was still cooking, so when I explained I was looking for something GF the owner's wife offered to make me an omelette... or as it is called here, a French tortilla. Perfect! Apr 28, 2014 - Rabanal del Camino

Today began with heavy black clouds towards the mountains where we were walking. We were convinced that we would be wet before the morning was out. But instead, it became very windy - the clouds blew away and it was sunny most of the day. But the wind was annoying - particularly for Pat Henderson as the hood to her jacket would not stay up and her hat was blowing around. I just zipped up my purple Marmot wind-cheat and was happy as a clam - except when I felt myself battling a very strong headwind on the relatively gentle uphill climb....
