@@@@@@@ Background This tiny town, population 640, is situated along the Rio Arlanza, but it gets its share of visitors because of it’s striking buildings and a little bit of history thrown in for good measure. The Colegiata de San Cosme y Damián contains the bones of Fernán González, the man who founded the province of Castilla in the 10th century. Apart from that, Norwegian visitors are drawn to the town to see the small statue of Princess Kristina, a daughter of Norway who was betrothed to the brother of the King Of Castilla in AD 1257....
