May 12, 2010 - Heading north......

Dear all, The nose of our camper is slowly turning north......... Bert is feeling better again, and we're slowly on our way home. All the impressions of the last 2 months are becoming too much for me (Dini) and we even didn't visit the nice town of Teruel. We'll do that in another trip, in another time...... The trip to and from Teruel was a wet one...heavy rain and thunderstorms, high winds and hail........ But we had a safe trip, and were protected again, as we've been on this whole trip. No accidents, although sometimes the cars racing...

May 18, 2006 - Albaracin and the local cops....

Albaracin - a real jem of a find! The town has won awards for restoration efforts, and we can see why. Fantastic walls surround the town and all of the buildings are restored to their original rough pink plastering. Have toured through La Manche en route and visited some of the Don Quixote sites. Saw the windmills and El Toboso - quite fun with all of the memorabillia around. On the map was listed something with 'Cervantes' on the label, so I thought it must be a memorial to the author of Don Quixote. Followed the map and wove through all...

Apr 8, 2006 - Spain - 2

After our ferry from Tangier to Algecira's was cancelled, we caught a latter one, meaning that we missed our bus back to Valencia. Although this was a bit of a pain in the butt, it meant getting a good night's sleep before jumping on yet another form of transport. So after a good night's sleep we jumped on an overnight bus to Valencia, which turned out to be one of my favourite places thus far on my trip.
