We have finally made it to Andalucia...the lovely medieval town of Ubeda, about 2 hours north of Granada. We drove straight from Segovia, stopping only at Don Quixote's windmills on the plains of La Mancha. Once we crossed into Andalucia, we could see nothing for miles around but groves and groves of olive trees. Ubeda is hot, about 100 degrees today. We did not venture out for dinner until 10pm ,when everyone else came out. We had an excellent meal near a park (tasty gazpacho!) Nearby, there were babies and small children running around...
