We headed towards the Donana National Park, and the town of El Rocio which we were going to use as a base. Good site, absolutely fantastic weather, and close enough to the town to walk in. Perfect. But what a town; one of the strangest places I’ve ever been. First off, all the streets in the town, apart from the one main road that goes through the middle, are all made of sand. Every single one, and this is not a village, this is a fairly large town. Then, all the buildings have hitching posts outside them for the tying up of the horses....
