jeudi 21 juin- Visite de l'Alcazar et départ pour Carmona Ce matin, on se ramasse et on se prépare pour terminer notre visite de Séville et partir vers Cordoue (Cordoba) en passant une nuit à Carmona. On descend en ville afin de termner la visite de Séville par L'Alcazar. Près de là, on s'arrête déjeuner. Les citadins se réunissent tous autours de tables pour partager le petit dej composé de café, fruits, pain grillé ou sandwich déjeuner. Oct 20, 2010 - Carmona
We decide that we will drive to Carmona and stay for two nights and travel into to Seville tomorrow. Apparently Seville is expensive and has lots of car vandals. So, we haven’t got far to go, but need to get more diesel…..we’ve gone nearly 5,000 kilometers since Paris. This car does almost 1,000kms on a tank! The service station has the usual drinks and snacks, but also sells gallons of olive oil – we are again seeing thousands of acres of olive trees. Sep 23, 2007 - We drove to Carmona and visited Sevilla
Saturday we left Arcos De la Frontera and drove to Carmona which is about 30 minutes east of Sevilla. Carmona is one of the oldest settlements in Spain, the site of human habitation for over half a million years. It is perched on a terraced escarpment and is in a perfect defensive position commanding the valley. Again, access was quite an exercise of climbing up streets? just wider than the car! Luckily it wasn't my turn to drive. Once we arrived at the mountaintop we were again in a fantastic hotel. Great views and a beautiful location. ...Jump to full entry
