It's a shame to leave the comforts of Felix Unite. What a fantastic place. Breakfast again at the restaurant before we leave to cross the border into South Africa. It's only a ten minute drive to the border. Our group manages the quick process to have our passports stamped but somehow we get mixed up with the paperwork  proceedure for the motor home.Thinking we were set to cross, Al drives up, hands the border security his paperwork, and is turned back to complete another required form. Oct 31, 2006 - Namibia ... Ho??

After a yummy lunch, I again had a bit of a boondoggle for 30 minutes or so getting out of Tulbagh, but I eventually found my way over the small mountains and out to the N7 highway - two lanes like most roads - and was on my way north. With my delays, I was about 2 hrs behind where I wanted to be, but I could get pretty well on before nightfall. I left the wine regions of the Western Cape and crossed into the Northern Cape Province.
