Hello friends! First of all, we , (Daniel and Joel and I), travelled down to Gordon's Bay, where my Dad and step-mother Margaret are still staying, to celebrate Dad's 90th birthday. He's looking good and amazingly well for that age. The picture I've shown was of a few months ago. Daniel took the best photos at the party, and he's not here. Mar 19, 2008 - Gordons Bay, our gateway to Cape Town!

We reached Gordons Bay and our final destination with Kate and Geoff after an incredible drive from Wilderness. We made some distance on the highway and then turned off onto the coastal road for the remainder of the journey, the views were incredible. Just to put our journey through South Africa into perspective now that we have reached the end of it - we have travelled a staggering 5637 kilometres since Kate and Geoff picked us up at Jo'burg airport!! Oct 3, 2007 - Gordon's Bay - our final accommodation!

Laughing our heads off so much we finally left the restaurant and started our journey to Julie's house in Gordon's Bay where we were to spend our last three nights. When we arrived Claudine ended up having to climb over the wall in order to unlock the gate. This started the giggles again. Once unloaded, including the food we'd picked up in Hermanus earlier on, we all decided on bedrooms and sorted ourselves out.
