May 18, 2006 - Destination Slovenia

Just a short 80km hop and I`m in Slovenia`s border town Nova Gorcia located on the banks of the Nova. A farily non-descript town but pleasant enough. I`m shacked up in the hotel ajoining a large casino. Fairly cheap and quite plush inside. Certainly the best hotel I`ve stayed in so far. Nova means new and is as a result of the original town (Gorizia) and much of western Slovenia being stolen by the Italians following the end of the First World War.
