Finally in the old country! Rain most of the way from Arco down past Verona, Venice, Trieste, and Ljubljana making for a tough drive. however all was fine. We spent much of the following month travelling around Slovenia catching up with Relatives and Simona's Neighbours in her old home Village. We also participated in some mushroom picking, wine harvest, Simona also picked potatoes and collected pumpkin seeds to get back to her past. We dropped down back into Slovenia and headed to the city of Maribor. Another 100km day took us through the rolling countryside and stretched out prairies with small farm towns. We tried to be Wedding Crashers a village restaurant but were turned away....what, do we smell?
