Slept in a bit for us-this was our Day of Rest. We walked around Sesimbra, a beach/fishing village that seems to be a popular vacation/weekend destination for the Portuguese, especially those in the Lisbon area, because it's only an hour outside of the city. Checked out their marina, hung out at a beach cafe for a bit, then found a great lunch at a contempo cafe that has two bowling lanes and the feel of a Euro discoteka. Sep 21, 2010 - Last leg...

From Coimbra to Conimbriga to Fatima to Batalha to Alcobaca to Nazare to Obidos to Sesimbra....OMG Jeezum crow...up at 6am today! We needed to hit the road early - full day ahead. I noted on the prior entry that we have five stops today - it's actually six, plus landing in the seventh - and we are finally admitting this trip was jam-packed even for us.
