Jul 7, 2009 - Our time is soon ending....

Hello to All of you!!!! 8 more days till we venture back home. I am excited but at the same time I am sad to leave this beautiful side of the world. From bricks to tin roofs, green barren fields to enormous monstrous castles, the beauty is endless. I am pleased with our trip but I am looking forward to getting back to work. It gets hard laying around all day looking for things to do. Sorry to rub it in!!!! Hopefully for those of you who will be in touch we will have to sit down some night and show you our adventure on a slide show. From...

Jun 29, 2009 - Back in Lodz

Hello again, We arrived back on Lodz well a small city outside of Lodz and have been here since last Tuesday. It has been nice not to pay for food and accommodations for the past week as we are running low on cash. Krzys's family is amazing and feed me like there is no tomorrow. The food is great but I think I have put on some pounds!!!! Better then starving right? It is Krzys's 32 birthday tomorrow and we are going to celebrate with his family which is truly a gift in itself. We are then thinking about going to the Baltic. The weather...

May 27, 2009 - LODZ

We woke up today and started with a fresh breakfast. Wow is was amazing! So good! The time change is wearing on both of us but we are still trekking trying not to waste any time while we are here. We went with Krzys's cousin to Lodz today and it was fantastic. It was a rainy day and it just added to the ambiance of the experience. It took about 30 mins to drive to Lodz down a narrow road with a lot of traffic. Fun as hell though!!! We drove past the old LODZ ghetto where back in the day Jewish people were locked within and burned alive....
