Feb 24, 2014 - Working our way back home

Barb and I took a motorized tricycle to Sabang - a nearby town to Puerto Gelera. We had heard that there was more of a "girlie bar" scene there, but that the town was nice. The local architecture was nice - lots of colorful buildings with a Spanish or Italian influence. However, there was definitely a fair amount of what I call the "Ick" factor. Feb 22, 2014 - Pt Galera2

Last night a group of Israelis from a nearby hotel had a celebration on the beach below our hotel. The vodka was flowing freely and the food tables were groaning. I think there as enough for an extra 300 guests. We got to watch a fire dance as part of the entertainment and it was interesting. Set to some hard driving recent music; not traditional at all.
