Oct 17, 2005 - Philippines..Cebu,Bohol, and Paglio
Well after Tokyo I flew back into the Phillipines for my last visit here, only this time I will exploring the south of the PI where all the beautiful islands are. But first one night in Cebu...there is really nothing to see in Cebu..it's a busy city with lots of noise, trash and heavy pollution. Hi there!! Today was spent making our way from Boracay to Bohol. It was a long day and I swear someone was following us putting rocks in our bags everytime we set them down. JG: Nice little village with loads of divers. Went out on 3 dives over 2 days. Lost my confidence in it a little, bad equipment, bouyancy and BUDDY (...only joking!) Tez had the new underwater camera so got a bit carried away. Saw a couple of turtles and sea snake (whilst snorkelling) and nice lickle fishies. Really good coral garden and caves all wall dives and drift dives. We had a lovely room overlooking the ocean..loads of chilling out and drinking cheaper than chips alcohol! Best pizza ever in D'Bestro! TS: Nice little place, full of...

Couple of days - internet etc. Visited the Taoist Temple (beautiful!) and the Tops - lookout which had fantastic views right across the city but was difficult to get to. Jumped on the back of a couple of motor bikes to get to each and locals were fab at stopping and offering lifts. Bizzarest sight as we walked along there were 4 monks bouncing basketballs whilst strolling down the road! TS: Started in Cebu City. First impressions good; people really friendly, beers very cheap, weather baking hot again. Chinese temple was fantastic. Enjoyed...
