Nov 26, 2005 - Malapascua

"Rust is vrede". In Maya aangekomen,...

Oct 17, 2005 - Philippines..Cebu,Bohol, and Paglio

Well after Tokyo I flew back into the Phillipines for my last visit here, only this time I will exploring the south of the PI where all the beautiful islands are. But first one night in Cebu...there is really nothing to see in Cebu..it's a busy city with lots of noise, trash and heavy pollution. At lease two thousand tuk tuks...and many taxis and lots of smoky air. It's pretty bad. So next day I headed for the islands. On Bohol island there are the Chocolate Hills...only place on earth like it. If you know what a the candy we call chocolate...

Aug 1, 2005 - Cebu

Hi there!! Today was spent making our way from Boracay to Bohol. It was a long day and I swear someone was following us putting rocks in our bags everytime we set them down. They seem to get heavier all the time. We took an 11am flight from Caticlan to Cebu which was run of the mill. No craziness. We then took a two hour ferry ride to Bohol, the home of the Tarsier and the Chocolate Hills. We are staying on a small island connected to Bohol. It's more of a beachy resort area and from what we've seen of it so far, is beautiful. Tomorrow we...

JG: Nice little village with loads of divers. Went out on 3 dives over 2 days. Lost my confidence in it a little, bad equipment, bouyancy and BUDDY (...only joking!) Tez had the new underwater camera so got a bit carried away. Saw a couple of turtles and sea snake (whilst snorkelling) and nice lickle fishies. Really good coral garden and caves all wall dives and drift dives. We had a lovely room overlooking the ocean..loads of chilling out and drinking cheaper than chips alcohol! Best pizza ever in D'Bestro! TS: Nice little place, full of...

Feb 19, 2005 - Cebu, Philippines

Couple of days - internet etc. Visited the Taoist Temple (beautiful!) and the Tops - lookout which had fantastic views right across the city but was difficult to get to. Jumped on the back of a couple of motor bikes to get to each and locals were fab at stopping and offering lifts. Bizzarest sight as we walked along there were 4 monks bouncing basketballs whilst strolling down the road! TS: Started in Cebu City. First impressions good; people really friendly, beers very cheap, weather baking hot again. Chinese temple was fantastic. Enjoyed...
