Jan 3, 2011 - Penonome - Panama

January 3, 2011 I left Los Santos on January 1 and headed to a town on the PanAmerican called Penonome. There is not much to see in Penonome but it makes for a good base camp to explore some villages to the north in the foothills. I arrived and found a rather expensive hotel, $USD40.00 per night, on the outskirts of town. It wasn’t a sex hotel.
