Chaotic 'Pindi, as Pakistani's say, is only about 15k's hair-raising minibus journey away, and I made a visit to have a look around and visit the Sadaar Market as the guidebook says there's a large number of bookstalls on a Sunday. There probably was at the time of publishing, but not any more, so its onwards for walk around. Pindi is much more lively than Islamabad, and I search out the area where the Pakistani trucks and all things on wheels are given their psychadelic paint-jobs.
