Jan 1, 2011 - New Year at Jiquilillo

After a couple more days relaxing on Ometepe it was time to move on. We caught a ferry back to the mainland, and then buses north to Leon another old colonial town, similar to Granada but more faded and crumbling. We spent a couple of days exploring the city, and then headed out to the beach for New Year's Eve. We found an amazing place called Rancho Esperanza, in Jiquilillo (pronounced Hickalee-o).
