Marcia: Well, we made our way from Wellington taking the 3 hour ferry to the South Island and then down to the long awaited Kaikoura (not short of a speeding ticket for Nige ha ha ha! I didn't quite verbalize "I told you so" but my laugh out loud spoke for itself! I am now well trained in sitting silently as we fly around corners driving through terrifying mountain roads in what Nige seems to think is some type of sports campervan! I began the trip nagging about how topheavy we were and that he can't drive like he does in London but it never did any good so needless to say I quite enjoyed the experience of our first speeding ticket in NZ and the police officer was so sweet, even apologized and hoped it didn't ruin our vacation.Marcia: Well, we made our way from Wellington taking the 3 hour ferry to the South Island and then down to the long awaited Kaikoura (not short of a speeding ticket for Nige ha ha ha!
