We left Etosha for Waterburg Plateau National Park - a haven for many endangered species; this 200 metre flat-topped plateau is described as the Last Eden; once up there, the animals have no way down (50 km long, 16 km wide) sandstone block rising above the plain. We stopped at another waterhole and saw black-backed jackal, wildebeest, zebra, springbok, oryx, cattle egrets, steenbok and ostrich. Further down the road our guide spotted bloodied lions who had made a recent kill. We also saw a herd of zebra, giraffe and elephants. We arrived...
