Sep 6, 2004 - Into Ulaan Baatar on route to Beijing

VISIT NUMBER THREE (9/6-7): I was in Ulaan Baatar for about 36 hours, fried from having taken the late train from the south (left southern Mongolia at 1:00 am, arrived in UB at 8:00 AM), and I had the shits all night and so got no sleep (from a US candy bar, of all things - or so that's the best I can guess). Nothing too big to report, other than after my Mongolian train experience, I decided to fly back to Beijing rather than take the train.
