We set the alarm for 6:15 am, as our start into Mexico was to roll out at 7:30. The trip south was about 220 miles, and we arrived in Ciudad Victoria about 3 pm, after lunch on the road. ... Today we got up before the crack of dawn to take a bus tour with other friends from Winter Ranch. So, trying not to be too early, we arrived a half hour before we were to start and were about at the end of the line so we sat close to the back! We made our way through the border station in Reynosa and had breakfast at the El Campanari Restaurant. ...
