March 17, 2010 When I road up to the BMW dealership in Scottsdale I meet a lady, I forget her name, that was looking for a new set of sprockets and a new rear wheel. She was from Victoria and riding solo Guatemala. She was on a F650GS, the same bike Cara rides. I thought her rear wheel looked good for a while yet. I told her so but she pointed out a blue line on the tyre. She told me that when the blue line appeared it was time to change the tyre. Or so the manufacturer would lead you to believe.
