NOT! It turned east and headed straight to San Carlos/Guaymas where we fortunately pulled into a slip 2 days prior and got the boat readied. ... Lots and lots of flooding throughout all of San Carlos and Guaymas and it is nearly impossible to get into or leave the marina area. ... In this area we have heard, seen as we were driven into San Carlos yesterday and seen pictures of some of the devastation. ... We heard that 16 boats were beached and damaged that were on mooring balls in San Carlos Bay and numerous boats were sunk and still attached to their moorings. ... Sep 2, 2009 - A sail to remember

Our sojourn to Isla San Esteban from Isla Partida After a restless night at our anchorage in Partida norte (north side) we pulled anchor to head to Isla San Esteban. We finally modified our plans after 4 hours of realization of not making our destination due to the elements so decided to head to the beautiful anchorage of Punta Willard on the east side of Isla Tiburon leaving Esteban for another day. ... On Wednesday we decided to take a trip south to Nogales, Mexico as well as some additional stops at a few historic places on the way down and back. ...
