Jan 23, 2007 - So How Is Mexico You Ask?

We are almost at our final destination. The idea of going to the Baja is out of the question now that we have spoken to people who have taken the ferry across - 19 hours from load to unload (4 hours to get the vehicles off the ferry as they all have to be backed up), huge waves, and not as good roads once you are on the other side. We are happy here and plan to spend the next couple of months around Mazatlan. Yesterday we had an "incident" that could have been a "disaster". We are in Culiacan and the campground is 10km from the highway...
