Mar 22, 2007 - Guadalajara to Saltillo - We're Not Dead Yet!

Leaving Chimulco on Thursday ended up being easier than we were led to believe, as we left at 6:00 in the morning, and did not have to go through the centre of Guadalajara, but rather skirted around it. Once out of town, the highways were fantastic. Four lanes, shoulders, signage, and everything that we take for granted at home. The drive northeast from Guadalajara was beautiful, as the scenery changed from densely populated city to rolling hills, agave plantations, and livestock.
