I am not sure what the day or date it is: May 14, 2010 As of late I have become a true traveler. I have become to understand the Mexican peoples. 2 months. I have been having starter problems again. Nothing new. Over the last 2 months I have shifted Electra more times than I have in the last 2 years. I removed the starter yesterday. The clutch dust has gummed up the shaft. Jan 25, 2008 - Queretaro, Leaving the Colonial Heartland
When we get closer to Queretaro it is clear that it is a big industrial centre: large factories and sprawling dirty looking streets full of smaller workshops and businesses appear along the route. Closer to the city a modern American-style commercial centre, with Wal-Mart, Sears and big Mexican chains, line the road that runs along the city centre towards the Central de Buses. Nov 10, 2007 - Travel To Queretaro
Those of us that needed petro left at 7am and gassed up. This was a long 270 mile drive. We climbed up to 8,000 ft...what a beautiful view. Very sharp turns and steep drop-offs. In one town they were doing road construction and there was one lane only. Very slow going. As we got through the construction and were leaving town, a federal police car passed us. He pulled over down the road and motioned us over. I was parked behind the police car and mouthed banos to the cop standing beside the car and pointed to the back of my RV. He nodded OK....
