Oct 17, 2010 - The first time at the Pacific

Yesterday we arrived at our second destination, Puerto Angel. It took us 6 hours to get from Oaxaca to Pochutla, from where we took a taxi to Puerto Angel. The small fishertown Puerto Angel is not very touristic, and it is not very clean. But it's at the Pacific! The town itself is a bit dusty and dirty, but the Hotel where we are staying, "Puesta del Sol", is quite nice and cheap. Dec 18, 2008 - Oaxaca to Puerto Angel, Oaxaca

We had a little trouble getting our bike out of the front entrance of the lobby today because someone had parked in front of the hotel doors. We have been parking in the lobby each night then moving it out in the morning. (Did I mention this was a four start hotel? I am glad I don’t have any oil leaks.) Once loaded we hit the road heading back to the coast and warmer temperatures once again. Oaxaca city has a very good climate this time of the year.
