Feb 2, 2010 - Day Trip to the High Sierra Madre de Oaxaca

Even though it was a little cloudy and the potential for rain was apparent, I decided to take a day trip into the mountains anyway. I have not been on the bike for a week and I could you a little break from the noise of the city. I picked a route that would take me high into the Sierra Madre de Oaxaca mountain range. The route looked to be mainly paved with a section of perhaps 25 km of dirt or gravel in the middle.
