À 60 km de Puerto Vallarta, Rincon de Guayabitos est une station balnéaire faite sur mesure pour les vacanciers mexicains et, en hiver, pour les étrangers venus du froid, notamment pour les canadiens. Petite ville de 4,000 habitants, avec ses quelques 14 km de plage, ce qui veut dire de belles et longues promenades à pied. Toujours pas mal de gens sur le bord de la mer et ce, même en semaine. Feb 23, 2010 - Rincon de Guayabitos...Here's to you, Bill!

It hasn't been all about sipping cool cocos and eating fish tacos on "our" beach! We've made it our duty to check out and report on (at least in picture form) all the other beach communities from Punta de Mita, on the north end of the Bahia de Banderas, home of that most popular of towns, Puerto Vallarta, and on further north to Playa Chacala. The map should provide some visual aid as to the lay of the land.... Rincon de Guayabitos is about 10 miles north of our Lo de Marcos home and a much bigger town. Feb 4, 2009 - La Peñita, Nayarit

Hard to believe, but a month has whizzed by and I'm about to be on my way home again. These photos are all taken in the little beachside town of La Peñita, where I'm staying at the lovely 'Casa Verano Eterno' (Eternal Summer) B & B, owned by my good friends Bill and Marilyn. There have been five of us inmates staying here, two of whom I knew before who are from Gabriola and two from Victoria.
