1/14 - 1/28 It was time to start heading north again - out of the heat and humidity. It took us two days to drive 213 miles to the Paraiso Miramar Hotel and RV Park in Miramar (just south of San Blas). Since we liked this campground when we stopped on the way down, we decided to stay again and enjoy the beautiful weather. Dec 22, 2005 - Miramar, Nayarit, Mexico

12/22 - 12/27 Another 156 miles brought us to the Paraiso Miramar Hotel and RV Park in Miramar, Nayarit (about 8 miles south of San Blas). On this drive we started noticing the higher temperature and humidity that we expected when we reached the tropics. While we were in Miramar: >we left our laundry at a hotel to be washed. It was finished in the afternoon and cost $3.50 to wash, dry and fold two loads. Dec 7, 2004 - Mazatlan to Isla Isabel

We left the afternoon of December 7th for an overnighter to Isla Isabel National Park. It was a fairly rough ride, some of the biggest seas since we were north of Point Conception in California. But, it mellowed as the night went on, and of course the boat handled it fine. The crew just needed to get used to big seas again. We approached the island at sunrise.
